eBay clearly does not like or want full honest feedback being left for buyers or sellers because;

a) They limit how much text you can leave (80 characters).
b) They do not allow sellers to leave negative feedback for buyers!

So

1) If you want to leave more than eBay allow you, publish your extended / negative feedback here and then either;
a) Also use the eBay feedback system (leave 2 sets of feedback), or
b) On eBay's feedback system leave instructions on how to find your full feedback here, e.g. "For my feedback, please Google (the other person's eBay ID)".

Example of what to write (after you have published here) in the eBay feedback area;

Please note: eBay prohibit external links (to us and other sites) in feedback (see: eBay feedback abuse), so you can not leave a URL link itself on eBay as they will remove it and may ban you! But you can get other eBay users to search for your feedback here on Google. Just look what happens when you Google for eBay seller leonmad for example!

2) If you are an eBay seller and want to leave negative feedback for a buyer, the basic same rules above apply. Of course, eBay forces sellers to leave positive feedback only and you are not allowed to leave contradictory negative text. But the eBay "police" may leave "For my feedback, please Google (the other person's eBay ID)", though leaving this does mean your increase the positive feedback score for that buyer.

Guidelines:

Topic Title = The other person's eBay ID / username
Topic Description = A short summary of your feedback (optional)
Topic = Your full feedback (let them have it but make it professional and factual)

if you happen to leave a neutral or negative feedback,ebay removes it in most cases.i left a negative feed back for someone 1 time and they removed it and suspended my account for 10 days because of it.they really dont allow someone to speak their mind on how a transaction really went.to me personally,its a joke and i have a right legally to my opinions and facts in this matter.if the person happens to be a power seller,they are double protected like evcotradingpost which is also a joke.this is th reason i have just recently taken my business elsewhere and no longer sell on ebay or trade for that fact.no protection at all.
