I've been buying and selling misc. stuff on ebay for years and feel that there is no seller protection at all. Everything is taken on the buyer's word and it's re-damn-diculous!
I sold some scooter parts that clearly stated in plain english "may take up to 4-6 weeks for delivery" (being shipped parcel post from Hawaii) and the buyer ended up complaining to ebay without giving me a chance to explain. By the time I was able to explain to the buyer the terms he signed into (apparently he forgot that I mentioned the slow shipping in the ad) Ebay simply took the buyers word that I was a flake and issued him a refund.
Now I'm out the parts, the money the item sold for and the shipping charge because it was included in the price. I am getting triple screwed all over a now blown over misunderstanding that resolved itself without needing a refund. How is this fair?
